Junior blogger Charlotte (13) reviews TopDog – Soho, London
Review of Top Dog Soho by Charlotte O’Connor (aged 13)
As a pre-Christmas treat my Mum took me to visit the new restaurant owned by Marissa Hermer (of ‘Ladies of London’ TV fame) called Top Dog Soho. I was really excited to try it. When I got there I really liked the red background with the white writing on the outside of the building as I believe any potential customers walking down the streets of Soho would find the restaurant aesthetically pleasing and want to go in. As it was a Friday night, the restaurant was busy but the service was really good and we got seated straight away. I really liked the American diner décor
I ordered the ‘Plain Jane’ which is a plain hotdog in a bun with ketchup and mustard. I picked this as I wanted a true American classic – and it was amazing! I also had sweet potato fries and a vanilla milkshake. I really enjoyed my meal at Top Dog and can’t wait to go back again. I think next time I will try the cheeseburger as my Mum said it was spot on!
I would give Top Dog a rating of 4/5.
Junior Bloggers is a new section that I am now including on my website. The intention is to find family friendly restaurants recommended by the younger members of the family. If the kids are on board then it’s got to be good right? If you have a junior blogger in the making who would like to contribute their own recommendation you can get in touch with me here.
