The Blitz Party is back with a bang on Saturday 5th March.The time has once again arrived for medal-clad gentlemen and red-lipped ladies to fly back in time to an era filled with wartime revelry and 40’s glamour, for one of the most notorious and memorable parties in town. 

Held at East London Bunker, 26 White Post Lane, London, E9 5EP, the ultimate wartime air raid shelter will be filled with sandbags, black out curtains, military bunk beds, a swing dance hall and a live music stage. Bar menus will be hidden in replica ration books, and scarce provisions will  line the walls ensuring a complete and genuine 1940s atmosphere. 

'Run For Shelter a night of Forties Fashion and Frolics On 65th Anniversary of D-Day' Coinciding with the 65th anniversary of D-Day, 6th June Blitz Party event under the railway arches in Shoreditch, [54 Holywell Lane , Ec2 ] remembering and honouring BritainÕs finest with 1940s music and dancing. Ê The Blitz Party gives party goers the opportunity to step back in time at our 1940s East End air raid shelter, where drinks, dancing and neighbourly spirit are the order of the evening. Cocktails In The City

Bourne and Hollingsworth Cookery School

On March 1st Bourne & Hollingsworth Group will launch a brand new cookery school above the beautiful Bourne & Hollingsworth Buildings.  Run by the group’s new executive chef, Adam Gray, the B&H Kitchen will guide Londoner’s through expert techniques, seasonal recipes and ingredient knowledge. Focusing on quality produce and teaching both classics and specialised methods, the courses range from knife skills and butchery to sausage making and seasonal vegetables.

Cahoots special underground Squiffy Mother’s Day Event

Soho’s underground sensation Cahoots is hosting a very special Squiffy Picnic. Whisk your mother away to a whimsical garden party down below for a vintage Mother’s day Squiffy Picnic complete with wicker picnic hampers filled with delightfully British cuisine and cocktails circa 1946.

Upon arrival, the stationmaster will greet guests with a refreshing Sipsmith Summer Cup cocktail before heading down the apples and pears to a tube station  decorated with flowers, streamers and colourful bunting. Mothers and their families can sift through the vintage dress box for sunhats before sitting at their picnic tables laden with a cosy tartan blanket, roses, candles and a dedicated hamper menu that pays homage to food and cocktail favourites from post-war Britain. Guests have the option of three different hampers including The Spivs& Scoundrels, Starlets & Sirens and Aristocrats & Fat Cats, all of which are packed with scrumptious fare and delectable tipples.
